Helming Hannes Snellman‘s finance and restructuring practice, Fredrik Olsson takes the lead on high-yield transactions, LBOs, real estate financings and asset-backed lending mandates. The client roster comprises heavyweight private equity clients on the borrower side, and a number of European financial institutions on the lender side. Carolina Wahlby handles the financing of public offers and through Paula Röttorp, the practice provides a strong financial regulatory offering, covering licensing issues, payment services operations and dealings with the Swedish Financial Services Authority.

Hannes Snellman fields an active capital markets practice across the debt and equity sections. For the latter, Christopher Saidac and Ola Åhman lead on IPOs, public tenders and private placements on behalf of foreign and domestic sponsors. Practice head Mattias Friberg and Fredrik Olsson handle debt-side mandates, including high-yield bond offerings, real estate-backed bonds, LBOs and green bonds for high-profile bookrunners and issuers.

The practitioners have backgrounds in dispute resolution, restructurings and finance issues and work in close conjunction with members of other teams, such as the M&A and employment groups, in order to handle distressed transactions at a domestic and cross-border level. Practice head Fredrik Olsson is particularly experienced in private equity related restructurings, while Ola Åhman advises management, creditors and suppliers of insolvent companies.
