Career

Sofía is an Intellectual Property and Technology partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and head of Retail.

She has extensive experience in advising on a wide range of intellectual property matters, with special emphasis on trademark, design, unfair competition, distribution and digital law, both in contractual and transactional aspects as well as in litigation. Her litigation experience has led her to represent leading clients in their respective sectors before national courts (civil, commercial, administrative and criminal) and EU courts (Community Trademark Courts, General Court and Court of Justice). In recent years, she has been involved in a large number of cases of particular relevance due to their avant-garde typology. The sectors of her experience include luxury and fashion, retail, food, entertainment and technology.

Sofía also has extensive experience in advertising law, having represented clients before Autocontrol and the courts.
