Career

Pietro Buccarelli specialises in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He advises domestic and multinational corporations in significant national and cross border projects and also advises companies on the IPO track. His expertise extends to corporate and commercial law specifically in drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements, shareholders’ agreements and commercial agreements. He also has extensive experience in commercial arbitration and alternative dispute resolution practice before major international institutions.
Prior to joining Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners Pietro worked in Bologna and was a founder of Studio Legale Buccarelli & Dettori. He has also worked as an adjunct/assistant professor at the Summer School of Loyola Law School where he taught Alternative Dispute Resolution and also at the Summer School of the Golden Gate University, San Francisco, where he taught Comparative International Trade Law.
