Career

Nicola Boella has almost two decades of experience in the field of taxation. He specializes in litigation relevant to direct and indirect taxes, as well as in national and international tax matters. He has gained an extensive experience in the proceedings before the various tax court tiers for the settlement of tax disputes before starting tax litigation procedures and negotiating out-of-court settlements. He advises clients during the pre-litigation stage and in the drafting of all kind of procedural documents related to tax litigation.
He provides legal advice both in national and international taxation, also in connection with M&A transactions.
Expert of legal and tax aspects of Trusts, he has gained a long-standing operational experience in their creation and management.
Before joining our law firm in 2012, he has been in charge of tax litigation practice in a leading Italian tax firm.
He is author of some publications and attends various conferences and seminars on tax matters as speaker. He lectures about tax litigation in collaboration with University “Luigi Bocconi”, as well as with the Certified Public Accountants’ Foundation of Milan. He contributes to the scientific committee for the drafting of the ‘Maxims’ of Tax Courts of Lombardy.
