Position

Dimitri Dimitrov is admitted to the Paris Bar and is a member of Gide’s Competition & International Trade practice group since 2002. He acquired an extensive experience, in both litigation and advice, in all fields of economic law (competition and distribution law, defective products, consumers’ protection, advertising etc.).

He is notably experienced in the field of cooperation agreements and distribution, in France and abroad, and represents companies in litigation proceedings before French and EU authorities (vertical practices, cartels and abuse of dominant position) and courts (claims for compensation, agency law, sudden termination of established commercial relationships and other restrictive practices).

Dimitri advises on a regular basis French and foreign companies for the implementation of compliance programs and merger control. He has handled over the recent years several complex multijurisdictional merger control cases.

He has developed an activity dedicated to Life Sciences, which covers all needs in this domain (regulatory assistance, ethics rules and interactions with medical practitioners, product liability etc.).

Dimitri has recently been involved in cases for reference clients such as Phoenix Pharma, Volvo Constructions Europe, Stihl, Total, Ajinomoto, BMW, Giesecke+Devrient (G+D), Michelin, Total etc.

He holds a Magister of Business Law, Tax and Accountancy from the University of Aix-Marseille III and a Master degree in European law from the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne.
