Position

Paul Jourdan-Nayrac was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2010. Prior to joining Gide’s Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate practice in 2013, he was an associate within the M&A / Private Equity / Venture Capital practice group of US law firm Morgan Lewis & Bockius’ Paris office for three years.

Paul specialises in mergers, acquisitions, venture capital and private equity matters, acting primarily in the technological sector, on complex operations or deals with an international dimension.

He acts more particularly on venture capital, capital investment and private equity issues with a French or international dimension, especially in the technological sector, advising both investors and issuing companies. He works with investors and growth companies during funding rounds, restructurings, external growth operations and exits. Paul was actively involved in creating the Gide Venture legal platform dedicated to start-ups. He is also a member of the team working in partnership with the Raise Foundation, offering free legal advice to start-ups.

Lastly, he works on LBO and OBO operations for investment funds and managers.
