Career

Katrien Veranneman’s practice focuses on EU and Luxembourg competition law as well as on foreign direct investment control and international sanctions. She also advises on financial sector regulatory matters and ESG topics. She is an EU litigation expert and assists clients before the EU courts.

Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2016.

Languages

English, French and Dutch and has good knowledge in German and Luxembourgish.

Member of the Delegation of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) to the EU Courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Katrien worked as référendaire (legal secretary) at the General Court of the European Union for twelve years. Before that, she practiced EU law and competition law with an international law firm in Brussels (Belgium) and London (UK) for five years, and was a Foreign Associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York (USA).
