Position

Victor specialises in corporate and commercial law. He deals with mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance as well as advising on commercial transactions. He has particular expertise in dealing with companies seeking to float on the London Stock Exchange, AIM or ISDX and advising in relation to Enterprise Investment Schemes.

Victor has acted for brokers and growing companies seeking venture capital, as well as publicly traded companies on their admissions and subsequent corporate transactions. He is experienced in handling contested and agreed offers for publicly traded companies, private company acquisitions and disposals, and has acted in a variety of capital market transactions.

Victor is experienced in advising on financial services regulatory matters including the Financial Conduct Authority rules and in the structuring and setting up of funds.

Career

Victor was an equity partner at a major City firm before joining Edwin Coe in 2004.

The team at Edwin Coe LLP handles public and private M&A, and acts for a number of overseas companies investing in the UK, such as United Technologies, Sabre Airline Solutions, Kout Food Group and Bel Fuse. The practice is led by Russel Shear, who recently acted for Germany-based Siegwerk Druckfarben on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of ink supplier Hi-Tech Products. Other highlights included Alexandre Terrasse advising on the sale of the entire issued share capital of a wind power producing company based in Ukraine to a large Swedish energy group, and acting for a specialist steels and alloys manufacturer on the £17m purchase of metal manufacturing assets for the automotive and aviation industries. Victor Hawrych, David Kinch and John Young, who joined from Mishcon de Reya LLP in May 2017, are also noted.
