Lawyer Rankings

Austria > Dispute resolution: white-collar crime (including fraud)

DORDA Rechtsanwälte GmbH acts for individuals and corporates in investigative, civil and criminal proceedings arising from allegations of embezzlement, tax evasion and misappropriation of funds, among other matters, and also acts for victims of such offences. Providing compliance advice and assistance with associated systems, such as anti-corruption schemes, constitutes another key element of the team led by Daniela Firulovic. Her practice is part of the firm’s wider dispute resolution offering led by Florian Kremslehner. This integral approach was further underlined by the partner promotion of Stephan Steinhofer (expertise in arbitration, litigation and white-collar crime) in March 2021.

(Leading individuals)

Florian KremslehnerDORDA Rechtsanwälte GmbH

DORDA Rechtsanwälte GmbH has a strong track record acting for finance, energy and construction sector players alongside commercial and professional services providers and public sector bodies in an equally broad range of commercial and corporate disputes. This offering includes insurance defence work, which is typically led by Felix Hörlsberger and which includes instructions to act as monitoring counsel in high-volume liability and coverage disputes, as well as mass litigation, for which associate Alexander Karl is the key contact. Both are key members of the dispute resolution practice led by Florian Kremslehner, whose expertise extends to arbitration and white-collar crime. With the promotion of litigation and arbitration expert Stephan Steinhofer in February 2021, the team counts an additional partner in its ranks.

Austria > Dispute resolution: arbitration and mediation

In addition to the firm’s full-service offering, which allows DORDA Rechtsanwälte GmbH‘s arbitration group to handle matters at various intersections, it is well placed to cover party counsel as well as arbitrator mandates. This set-up is reflected in the team’s leadership with Florian Kremslehner routinely acting as arbitrator and Veit Öhlberger regularly handling party counsel work. Öhlberger is best known for his expertise in trade and distribution disputes, while handling construction, banking and finance-related work alongside corporate arbitration constitute other key elements of the practice. Counsel Gunnar Pickl is a key contact for construction sector disputes.
