Career

Bernhard Heinzl has been with DORDA’s IT/IP team since 2013 and was admitted to the Austrian Bar in 2017. Bernhard is specialised on all aspects of copyright, trademark, unfair competition and notably patent law. He is particularly often engaged in litigation proceedings (enforcement, oppositions and invalidity proceedings). Due to his specialisation in technology and digital business, Bernhard is the Vice-Head of DORDA’s Digital Industries Group.
Bernhard strengthened his international background during a patent law secondment at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Germany.
In addition, Bernhard is the author of several publications. Furthermore, he is a lecturer at various institutions.
