Specialist in structuring, incorporating and managing businesses in Colombia; aviation law and overland transport; and consumer law (consultancy and litigation).

Before joining Cuatrecasas, Juan Fernando Puerta worked at a top-level national firm, was legal director of one of Colombia’s leading airline associations, and was part of the regulatory affairs group at Air Canada.

He was assistant lecturer of commercial law at Universidad Javeriana, as well as head lecturer on the university’s Diploma in Aviation Law and on its Diploma in Legal English.
