Mannheimer Swartling has advised Investor AB in its acquisition of 50 per cent of the Lindorff group

June 2008

Mannheimer Swartling has advised Investor AB in its acquisition of 50 per cent of the shares in Lindorff First Holding AB, which indirectly controls all the shares in Lindorff Group AB. Altor 2003 Fund and Altor Fund II hold the remaining 50 per cent of the shares in Lindorff First Holding AB. The intention is that Investor and Altor are jointly to manage Lindorff. In the transaction, the Lindorff group was valued at an enterprise value of EUR 1,160 million.

Lindorff is the leading debt collection business in the Nordic region, with a further presence in Holland, Germany, the Baltic region and Russia, and had a turnover of EUR 349 million in 2007. The acquisition is subject to approval from the relevant competition authorities.

Jan Holmius was the partner in charge of the matter and was mainly assisted by Tom Wehtje and Johan Bergman. Eva Hägg, assisted by Emil Boström, was in charge of issues relating to securities.
