Position
Giulio has extensive experience in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sectors.
Giulio assists Italian and international companies by providing advice, also in the context of extraordinary transactions, on regulatory issues relating to media and telecommunications, intellectual property protection, advertising and e-commerce. He also provides assistance in the negotiation of complex commercial agreements and more generally on issues related to the transformation of services in the digital environment.
Giulio has gained significant experience in the field of personal data protection, assisting clients in the management of their data assets and in the definition of compliance programs.
In addition, Giulio supports clients in the definition of technology contracts and legal issues related to IT systems, also in the context of M&A transactions.
His professional background includes experience as corporate counsel in a leading global media company, as well as experience in top Italian and international firms.
He is legal advisor of the Branded Entertainment Observatory, an association that brings together the main players in the media, advertising and audiovisual production sectors.
Career
Giulio Vecchi joined the Firm in 2016 and became a Counsel in 2019.
He is a legal advisor for the Osservatorio del Branded Entertainment, an association which joins leading actors in the media, publications, and audiovisual production sectors. He was a professor and coordinator of a course in Media and New Technology Law at the University of Milan.
