Appointed as Counsel in 2017 and with CERHA HEMPEL since 2013, Michael has been working as specialized competition lawyer since 2008. Michael has considerable experience in all areas of competition law. His focus lies in merger control and fines proceedings both before the Austrian competition authorities and the EU Commission, as well as in the implementation of compliance systems. Michael has advised national and international clients in a wide range of industries, in particular in the sectors of consumer goods (SPAR), electronic goods (Samsung), construction (STRABAG), oil & gas (OMV), IT (Cisco Systems), manufacture of machinery (not disclosed client) and media (Bauer Media).
