Position

Audun Kleppestø is specialised in insolvency and restructuring, insurance law and financing. Kleppestø also works frequently with company law matters, including board liability cases, and with advising clients related to general contract law. Kleppestø is regularly appointed as official receiver at the Oslo bankruptcy court.

Kleppestø has long and varied experience with financing and mortgage law issues, e.g. based on providing assistance to foreign banks in connection with financing and guarantees. He has also worked frequently with insurance law matters, including insurance settlement cases, and has broad experience with the regulatory framework for financial services within both finance and insurance law. On the basis of this practice, he is well acquainted with the Norwegian FSA’s (Finanstilsynet) practice within various areas of supervision.

Kleppestø regularly litigates before the courts within his fields of expertise.
