Career
Johan Weihe is an expert in public law and regulatory issues.
Johan is one of the country’s leading experts in public law, energy law and foundation law issues, and he is consequently a much sought-after adviser by public authorities and companies, especially in the energy and utilities area. Johan advises commercial and non-commercial foundations and autonomous institutions and associations on administrative law and foundation law issues, including formation, amendments to articles of association and extraordinary transactions. In addition, Johan has assisted on a number of major transactions and mergers of commercial foundations.
As a foundation law expert, Johan was appointed member of the Danish Company Appeals Board by the Minister for Economic and Business Affairs. In addition, Johan has for a number of years headed JUC’s foundation conference and network for commercial foundations, and he has in-depth knowledge of the development in the world of foundations. The combination of legal insight and industry knowledge makes Johan a much used strategic sounding board with clients.
Finally, Johan frequently gives lectures on municipal law, foundation law and energy law to, among others, municipalities, clients and in Bech-Bruun Academy.
