Position

Martin Anderson’s practice focuses on domestic and international M&A transactions (acquisitions and divestures in public and private companies, mergers), private equity transactions (assistance to investors, sellers and management teams in MBOs, venture capital and start-ups) and general corporate law (corporate governance, shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures, restructurings, executive incentive arrangements).

Martin Anderson also regularly assists banks and other financial institutions on financing transactions (including structured financings), derivatives and financial products, asset management and regulatory matters.

Chambers (Global and Europe) and Legal 500 rank Martin Anderson as one of the leading lawyers in Switzerland in the areas of Corporate/M&A and Banking, and he has been recognised in the Legal 500 “Hall of Fame” for having received constant praise by clients for continued excellence for at least seven consecutive years.

Martin Anderson graduated in both law and business administration at the University of Geneva and was an assistant lecturer in finance at the University of Geneva. He lectures on the legal aspects of M&A transactions at the University of Fribourg and is also a regular speaker at conferences and seminars dealing with corporate law and banking/finance topics.
