Career

Tiago Corrêa do Amaral has been at Abreu Advogados since 2008 and became a Professional Partner in 2019. His practice has focused on the areas of energy, environment and public procurement.

He actively practices in the jurisdictions of Portugal, Angola and Mozambique in areas of Public Procurement, Energy and Natural Resources (Hydroelectricity, Oil & Gas) where he focuses essentially on matters related to the implementation of power stations. In this realm he works on the negotiation and drafting of contracts, licensing, expropriations, and relationships between the Board and Public Entities.

Additionally, he has extensive experience in advising in matters related to public procurement in wide-ranging industries.

He has also participated in a number of operations in Angola and Mozambique in the areas of energy, natural resources, and public procurement, providing support and advice on the cooperation with lawyers from Abreu International Legal Solutions in those countries.
