Position

Alexander Olliges is a Partner in the Private Equity & Real Estate and the Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions practices of Arendt & Medernach where he specialises in corporate law, advising domestic and foreign clients in particular from the private equity and real estate industry on the structuring of international transactions, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions as well as the reorganisation and setting up of various company structures and joint ventures in Luxembourg.

He is a member of the Bielefeld Bar (Germany) and was admitted by the Luxembourg Bar to practice in Luxembourg under his German professional title in 2005.

Education

Alexander studied law in Germany (Saarbrücken, Münster and Trier) and France (Bordeaux). He holds the German first (2002) and second (2004) state exam in law, as well as a French master’s degree in law from the Université Montesquieu – Bordeaux IV (France).
