Position

Nicolas Bouveret is a Partner in the Investment Management and Private Equity & Real Estate practices of Arendt & Medernach.

He advises global asset managers and institutional clients on the structuring, formation and marketing of Luxembourg investment funds, in particular private funds set up as alternative investment funds (AIFs) under AIFMD (partnerships, RAIFs and SIFs) as well as alternative UCITS. His practice includes mainly private equity funds, private debt funds and hedge funds.

Career

In 2013-2014, Nicolas was seconded to the New York office of Arendt where he assisted US and global asset managers in their European fundraising initiatives by setting up Luxembourg investment funds.

Education

Nicolas holds a law degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain (2005) and an LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University (2008).
