The Legal 500 Awards is a new concept in the crowded legal awards market. It rewards law firms\/sets and in-house teams equally, bringing the very best of the profession together for an exclusive evening of networking and dinner.<\/p>\n

What is it that makes the Legal 500 Awards unique? These awards combine the opinions of the 250,000 in-house lawyers we contact throughout the year, and the in-depth research that our team conducts into law firms. The rigorous Legal 500 research process ensures that these awards are the true barometer of expertise across the profession.<\/p>\n

The winners are pre-announced 12 weeks in advance of the event and invited to attend by exclusive invitation only. There are no submissions, no table sales and no lengthy speeches \u2013 as one managing partner put it: \u201cIt stands out from other award ceremonies as being for the winners rather than the hosts.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Legal 500 Awards creates a relaxed evening of high-level networking for the elite legal practitioners, this is not a black tie evening and the \u2018winners\u2019 don\u2019t pay to attend, there is no \u2018table of 10\u2019 to purchase. As we pre announce the winners there is no presentation of the 100 awards during the evening which allows for greater networking time with the attendees and our
\nsponsors to build face to face engagement.<\/p>\n

Who attends?<\/h2>\n

The Legal 500 Awards attracts attendees from private practice, the Bar, and in-house legal teams. In 2019, we had a record number of attendees, with over 500 elite lawyers joining us on the night. Attendance of this event is by invitation only.<\/p>\n
