For this long-overdue celebration of the Finnish in-house legal community, we partnered with DLA Piper to create a laid-back yet professional atmosphere where the accomplished GCs could share in their achievements while enjoying excellent food and drink with a historic view overlooking Helsinki\u2019s market square and the landmark Uspenski Cathedral. After introductions by Legal 500\u2019s Joe Boswell and Toppa\u2019s master chef <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Samppa Kangasj\u00e4rvel\u00e4<\/span>, country managing partner of DLA Piper Ilkka Liljeroos spoke of his firm\u2019s steadfast commitment to supporting GCs in Finland in achieving their objectives.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the awardees, Nordkalk\u2019s chief legal officer Laura M\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4nen spoke about some of her formative experiences as a young in-house counsel and highlighted shared trends and challenges currently facing the community.
