The Legal 500 was delighted to be in Paris on 15 November to celebrate the launch of the GC Powerlist France 2023 alongside Addleshaw Goddard France, in the company of the country\u2019s most influential General Counsel.<\/p>\n
Remy Blain, Partner and Head of Addleshaw Goddard\u2019s Paris office opened the evening with warm remarks. He was then joined by Ioana Knoll-Tudor, Micha\u00ebl Cousin and David P\u00e8re, all Partners at Addleshaw Goodard, who moderated an exceptional panel discussion on legal privilege. Besma Boumaza, Group General Counsel, Secretary of the Board of Directors at Accor, and Vice-President of the AFJE; Arnaud Douville, Deputy Group General Counsel and Chief Ethics and Compliance at Bureau Veritas; Olivier Catherine, Group General Counsel and Group Secretary at Sonepar; and Eline Cormont-Girardey, Group General Counsel at Tarkett, also contributed to the session. They examined the regime\u2019s potential obstacles, shared insights on implementation, discussed the role of legal associations, and provided comparative perspectives with other European jurisdictions.<\/p>\n
The event continued with a wonderful networking reception at the Rotunda room of the Peninsula Paris.<\/p>\n
