On September 13th, The Legal 500, in partnership with Pellerano & Herrera,\u00a0were incredibly proud to\u00a0release the GC\u00a0Powerlist: Dominican Republic 2023. The highly\u00a0anticipated\u00a0launch event took place at the stunning InterContinental,\u00a0located\u00a0in Santo Domingo, where esteemed in-house counsel came together to celebrate\u00a0their\u00a0achievements.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Setting the tone for the evening was\u00a0Elena Lewis, The Legal 500\u2019s editorial lead for the GC\u00a0Powerlist: Dominican Republic 2023,\u00a0who\u00a0highlighted the rigorous selection process and celebrated the recipients for their significant contributions to the legal field, particularly for their spearheading of many relevant topics, including the implementation of a digital transformation in the region.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following Elena\u2019s speech, the managing partner of Pellerano & Herrera, Ricardo Pellerano, highlighted the importance of recognising and honouring the most outstanding in-house lawyers in the country.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After his remarks,\u00a0Elena\u00a0introduced the keynote speaker for the event,\u00a0Yissel De Le\u00f3n Burgos Corporate legal manager at AERODOM, who addressed her peers, highlighting\u00a0the ever-evolving role of the in-house counsel in the Dominican Republic.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
