The Hague, 3 March 2026 <\/em>\u2013 BUREN is pleased to announce that Rutger van Thiel joined the firm on 1 March 2026 as partner and prospective civil-law notary within the Corporate Notarial practice. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Rutger brings more than 18 years of expertise in corporate law, developed at leading firms. He advises domestic and international companies, family-owned businesses and financial institutions on Dutch corporate law, with in-depth expertise spanning reorganisations and restructurings, joint ventures, (cross-border) mergers and conversions, demergers, acquisitions and the establishment of (international) corporate structures.<\/p>\n

Rutger also serves as an auditor for the Royal Dutch Association of Civil-law Notaries (KNB). He is among the few specialists in the Netherlands in the field of the cross-border transfer of registered offices of legal entities and is regularly engaged on complex corporate law matters.<\/p>\n
