NEW YORK, July 31, 2025: International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that it has expanded its renowned Intellectual Property practice with the addition of three nationally recognized, first-chair trial partners in the Bay Area and Texas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doug Lumish, Jeff Homrig and Gabe Gross are leaders in intellectual property, patent, trade secret and other commercial disputes. Doug and Jeff have been named Co-Heads of Weil\u2019s IP, Technology & Science Litigation practice and will anchor the Firm\u2019s growing nationwide technology litigation capabilities. Doug and Gabe will reside in our Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices, and Jeff will be based in Texas.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Doug and Jeff are returning to the Firm after beginning their legal careers at Weil. Both had been resident in Weil\u2019s Silicon Valley office for more than a decade, as integral members of the Firm\u2019s renowned Patent and IP Litigation team.\u202fAll three partners are highly regarded IP trial lawyers with extensive experience advising top-tier clients in bet-the-company litigation matters.\u202fThey bring deep experience across the science and technology sectors \u2013 including in high tech, biotechnology, life sciences and AI \u2013 as well as the ability to handle any IP matter<\/span> at any phase of litigation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
