MBH advises Alameda on record-breaking USD 190 million healthcare investment by DPI<\/strong><\/p>\n We are pleased to announce that Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy (\u201cMBH<\/strong>\u201d) acted as legal counsel to Alameda Healthcare (\u201cAlameda<\/strong>\u201d), Egypt\u2019s leading private healthcare group, in connection with a landmark USD 190 million investment by Development Partners International (\u201cDPI<\/strong>\u201d), the London-based, Africa-focused, multi-strategy private investment firm.<\/p>\n The investment, structured primarily as a capital increase, was executed through a binding agreement under which DPI and its co-investors will acquire a minority stake in Alameda. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close by the third quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n This transaction marks the largest private equity investment in Egypt\u2019s healthcare sector to date. The proceeds will fast-track Alameda\u2019s expansion in Egypt and the GCC, while supporting technology infrastructure upgrades and the development of specialized healthcare centers.<\/p>\n The MBH team advising on the transaction was led by Omar S.
