(\u201cSalcef\u201d)<\/strong><!--more--><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u2013a prominent Italian construction and engineering company that specializes in the construction and maintenance of railway and metro infrastructures which has been operating in Egypt since 2011 \u2013 in connection with the signing of its 25-year long joint venture agreement (\u201c<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">JVA<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u201d) with the Egyptian National Railways Authority (\u201c<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">ENR<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u201d) and the Transport Logistics Company (\u201c<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">TLC<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u201d). The project will focus on the construction, renovation, and maintenance of railway lines through their new joint venture company, (\u201c<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Salcef Track<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u201d) with Salcef playing a leading role in its execution and implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Salcef Track will begin by renovating 300 km of railway and 200 switches, with a minimum annual target of 100 km and 70 switches. By the end of the 25-year term, the company is expected to have renovated 2,500 km of track and 1,750 switches.
