The report \u201cseeks to shed light on the climate impact of the legal sector and foster a culture of accountability and improvement\u201d, positioning Weightmans among the very best in the industry.<\/p>\n<p>For the second consecutive year, Weightmans features in The Legal 500&#8217;s UK Green Guide, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legal500.com\/editions\/green-guide-united-kingdom-2025\/\">2025 Edition<\/a> \u2013 which showcases key UK law firms who are \u201cleading the way in sustainability\u201d. The guide says Weightmans \u201cmakes an impactful contribution to the decarbonisation of the built environment, insurance, and local government sectors\u201d, and provides clients with \u201cexpertise into regulatory compliance, sustainability strategy, and transition-focused transactional mandates\u201d. The guide also namechecks Weightmans\u2019 esteemed ESG manager, Abhay Srivastava.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, Simon Colvin, Weightmans ESG lead, has been named in The Legal 500\u2019s brand-new list of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalbusiness.co.uk\/green-ambassadors\/united-kingdom\/\">Green Ambassadors<\/a>, highlighting a small number of individual lawyers who have \u201cshown an exceptionally strong engagement with sustainability matters\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Simon Colvin said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat an incredible way to end the year and a real endorsement to the work we are doing in our ambition to be one of the UK\u2019s most socially and environmentally conscious law firms.
