Drew & Napier’s Telecommunications, Media and Technology Practice Group is pleased to present the latest issue of our Data Protection Quarterly Update.
In this issue, we study the most recent enforcement decisions issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission in respect of breaches of the Personal Data Protection Act (No. 26 of 2012). In light of rapid technological advancements and their implications on data processing around the world, we also highlight the emergence of new data protection regulatory instruments and frameworks in several other jurisdictions including the Philippines, Hong Kong and France.
