The Foyen Law Firm
represented Slussgården in its acquisition of Skanska’s Snäckan 8 office property
in downtown Stockholm, where KPMG previously had its headquarters. Through the
purchase, Slussgården increases its ownership by just over 23,500 square metres.
The acquisition is conditional on a new zoning plan and building permits.

The property is centrally
located in Tegelbacken, Stockholm, in an excellent location for communications,
right next to Stockholm Central Station. The building now on the property, Snäckan
8, will be demolished. The project is being defined in the current zoning plan
process and is expected to receive the highest environmental classification, Platinum,
pursuant to LEED. Skanska is responsible for execution of the project. Possession
of the building will take place when it is completed, which is expected to
occur in the third quarter of 2020.

Foyen’s team consisted of partner Henrik Henrik Ståhlberg (transaction) and partner
Per Vestman (construction) assisted by associates Oscar Wackling (real property)
and Madeleine Jönsson (transaction).
