Hengeler Mueller advises Ørsted on GIP’s sale of stake in offshore wind farm Gode Wind 1 to Glennmo

Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) is divesting its 50
percent stake in the German offshore wind farm Gode Wind 1. GIP has for this
purpose sold a 25 percent stake in the project to each of the investors
Glennmont Partners and The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited (TRIG).
Ørsted, global leader in offshore wind and developer of the wind farm, will
continue to hold a 50 percent stake in the wind farm.

Hengeler Mueller advised Ørsted on the transactions
and has been advising Ørsted on the Gode Wind 1 project since the development
of the wind farm. The team included partners Sebastian Schneider and Nicolas
Böhm (both M&A/Energy), Jan D. Bonhage (Public Law) (all Berlin), Thorsten
Mäger (Antitrust, Düsseldorf), counsel Andreas Breier (M&A/Energy, Berlin)
and Jörg Meinzenbach (Antitrust, Düsseldorf) as well as associates Jonas Brost
and Stephan Häfele (both M&A, Berlin).
