On March 13-17, 2017, VEGAS LEX will act as a partner of the 10th
Russian Business Week sponsored by the Russian Union of Industrialists and
Entrepreneurs (RSPP), one of the main annual business events in Russia.
On March 14,
2017, the VEGAS LEX law firm will support the environmental forum Year of the Environment in
Russia: Government and Business Objectives,
held as part of Russian Business Week 2017.
On March 15, VEGAS
LEX will also be a partner of the conference, Transition to Best Available
Technology in Energy Sector: Government and Business Objectives, where VEGAS
LEX experts will speak. Managing Partner Alexander Sitnikov will take part
in the RSPP conference on March 16.
During the
Russian Business Week, representatives of public authorities and the business
community will discuss issues of the tax, financial and banking systems, the regulatory
and licensing activities, problems in industrial ecology and the best available
technologies in the energy sector, cooperation of business and government in
the interests of social development, and integration within Greater Eurasia. The
participants will also discuss the new conditions of operation where the state
and private business will work in the coming decades, and the qualities that government
officials and large company executives will need to meet the challenges of the
future.
The Russian
Business Week participants will include Deputy Prime Ministers, representatives
of the Presidential Executive Office and the Federal Assembly of the Russian
Federation, heads of key federal ministries and agencies, members of the RSPP
Bureau, heads of regional offices and industry associations of RSPP, the
business community, industry and business associations.
The winners of RSPP’s 2016
national competitions will be announced at RBW 2017, including “Russian
business leaders: trends and responsibility” and the business journalism
competition*.
