‘Their key strength to my mind is their practical mindset. The team were always willing to give their insights into particular challenges we faced & brought a collaborative approach to getting to answers were acceptable to all parties. They do a great job of sorting the key points from the noise so that a deal doesn’t get bogged down in immaterial minutiae.’

‘There was a modesty and practicality to the team at Cooley that was noteworthy and made working with them a smooth experience. Compared with many other firms, there was a distinct lack of grandstanding. I believe they focused on adding value in everything they did rather than trying to maximise fees at the client’s expense. I was very impressed and would use again.’

‘The Cooley team was great in helping us navigate the complexities and local practices of a UK acquisition. They increased my personal knowledge base considerably and were extremely responsive, practical and diligent.’

‘David Wilson was a great resource. Always responsive, always willing to spend extra time to educate and help us understand the rationale and risks associated with the transaction and our ongoing presence in the UK.’

‘Collaborative style working with counsel on the other side and getting to a good solution.’

‘Natalia Kay – very pragmatic, simple explanations, reach solutions.’

‘Cooley have been a great business partner and I have found working with them, in some ways, comforting (which is extremely rare for legal-types). In so much as I trust the team are competent, pragmatic, willing to be flexible and driven to achieve the best possible outcomes on my behalf.’

‘Natasha Kaye has been my primary point of contact and embodies all the positive qualities mentioned above. In particular, Natasha was able to ensure that UK tax law was at the forefront of a US-led project – not easy – and in this case, absolutely essential to the success of the project.’
