BATLINER WANGER BATLINER Rechtsanwälte AG’s group, which handles a steady stream of M&A, capital markets and corporate governance matters, is led jointly by Christian Batliner, Martin Batliner and Markus Wille. Highlights included advising a Liechtenstein bank on a significant asset acquisition. Thomas Risch joined trust company Continor Treuhand Anstalt.

At Gasser Partner Attorneys at Law, department co-lead Johannes Gasser advised a Europe-based client on the establishment of a holding company. Thomas Nigg jointly heads the team that also draws upon the senior experience of managing partner Hannes Arnold. Other key clients include trusts, foundations and individuals.

Marxer & Partner Attorneys-at-Law houses a broad corporate practice, which is best known for its expertise in company incorporations, corporate governance and trust law. Johannes Burger and Michael Oberhuber are the key contacts for corporate and M&A work, and Markus Summer is noted for trust law-related matters.

The ‘high-quality team’ at Walch & Schurti Attorneys-at-law Ltd ‘always put its clients first’. The group, which shines in cross-border transactions, acts for an impressive array of corporations, banks, foreign law firms and entrepreneurs. Alexander Appel and Andreas Schurti jointly head a department that also includes the ‘outstanding’ Barbara Walch.

Among advocatio Rechtsanwälte Grabher Dür’s highlights, group head Johannes Dür advised a family foundation on the amendment of foundation documents. Tax and corporate governance are also strong areas of expertise.

Lampert & Partner Attorneys at Law Ltd secured a significant volume of TMT-related instructions over the past year, including advising a telemarketing company on its sale to a foreign buyer.  Siegbert Lampert’s group also has a strong record in corporate litigation matters.

Finance, insurance and trust law are sweet spots at Mßller & Partner Rechtsanwälte and it recently advised two insurance companies on their sale to an international investor. Egon Hug, Roland Mßller and Martin Zech are key figures.

Sele Frommelt & Partner Attorneys at Law Ltd has solid offerings in corporate, tax, financial services and administrative law. Veit Frommelt, who has strong experience in cross-border matters, corporate finance associate Rainer Lampert and Hugo Sele are recommended.

Hauser Partners, which has offices in Vaduz and Vienna, maintains a strong focus on cross-border M&A and corporate finance transactions. Wulf Gordian Hauser heads the team.

Schaan-headquartered Seeger, Frick & Partner has strong skill sets in financial services and trusts. Hilmar Hoch, who is also New York-qualified, handles a wide range of corporate, commercial and contentious matters.

Walser Attorneys at Law Ltd., which acts for a mix of private and institutional clients, is well versed in the establishment and management of foundations, partnerships, trusts and trust enterprises. Manuel Walser advised the board of a Liechtenstein foundation on an asset transfer transaction.

Wolff Gstoehl Bruckschweiger is a popular choice for referrals and is often called upon by international firms to provide local advice on cross-border M&A and finance transactions. Litigation is also a strong suit. Martin Gstoehl and Christoph Bruckschweiger are key names.
