The ‚Äėcompetent and efficient‚Äô Ivars Pommers¬†leads the real estate group at Ellex, which advises clients on niche practice areas such as territory planning and zoning. Pommers and Inita Jurka¬†recently acted for Eastnine on the ‚ā¨4.8m acquisition of two properties in the capital. The pair also advised¬†Northern Horizon Capital on the acquisition of a 7,455-square-metre office building in the business district of Riga. Ilga Gudrenika-Krebs¬†regularly advises clients on complex long-term projects. Other clients include Ikea, United Partners and¬†New Hanza Capital.

Ilze KramiŇÜa¬†and¬†Zanda Zańľuma¬†co-lead¬†the team at Eversheds Sutherland BitńĀns, which¬†has experience in advising on large-scale development projects and construction regulations. In recent work, it has been advising RB Rail on its Baltic infrastructure project. Other clients include the City Development Department of Riga Council and BaltCap Infrastructure Fund.

FORT's real estate practice group is led by JńĀnis Lńękops¬†and excels in handling complex cross-border transactions for local and international clients. Recent highlights include advising LNK Group and Capital Mill on the sale of a number of properties.¬†Vita RancńĀne¬†joined the firm from asset management company Reverta. Other clients include Piche and¬†Nevertel.

Kronbergs ńĆukste Levin's real estate practice covers transactions, leasing matters and construction issues. Valter Kronbergs¬†is currently assisting a US-based client with acquiring a new premises lease for its daughter company and with a claim against a former landlord.¬†Vineta Cukste-Jurjeva¬†is advising on¬†a significant pan-Baltic project involving the reconstruction of Riga Central Station and the construction of a new railway bridge and overpass.¬†Construction company¬†Franzoni & Co is a client.

Kristńęne Gaigule-҆ńĀvńďja¬†leads the real estate team at Primus Derling,¬†which has experience advising local and international real estate developers and investors on construction and planning matters. Sintija Radionova¬†is advising UCTAM Baltics, a subsidiary of UniCredit Bank Austria, on various issues relating to the sale and purchase of real estate. Linda ҆trause¬†leads the practice group at TGS Baltic; she and associate partner¬†Nauris Grigals have been advising the Ministry of Economics on real estate matters connected with the natural gas transmission and underground storage system, including evaluating potential claims from landowners. Associate Aija Kreicberga¬†is also recommended. Other clients include leading Baltic real estate company Kapitel and the Latvian subsidiary of building materials manufacturer Cemex.

VILGERTS'¬†clients include real estate developers, construction companies, investors and commercial real estate players.¬†Gints Vilgerts¬†and senior associate Vairis Dmitrijevs¬†advised East Capital Real Estate on the acquisition of a real estate company which owned a shopping centre in Riga city centre. This was particularly complex as the real estate owned by the target company consisted of various buildings that had been merged together. Associate Linda BńďrziŇÜa¬†also provided support in this matter.

LEADELL Fogels, Vitols & Paipa's¬†real estate practice group is led by Nils Fogels¬†and advises clients on a range of infrastructure and real estate projects, as well as representing them before Riga City Council. Recent work highlights include advising Coffee Drive on construction regulations in the historic centre of Riga. Ilze Jankevińća¬†is recommended for her¬†experience in real estate transactions and finance expertise.

Dmitri Kolesnikov¬†leads the team at NJORD Law Firm,¬†which advises on the sale of property, as well as construction and development matters. Clients include Park Hotel ń∂emeri and Jurmala Amusement Park.
