The team's client base is located within the pharmaceutical industry, including leading names such as Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline. Recent highlights include regulatory work for Google.

Sorainen has ‘unparalleled experience in the region’ and attracts local and international clients, particularly from the pharmaceuticals and life sciences sectors, with its full range of IP and technology services. Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns' full-service practice group has expertise in copyright, trade mark and patent litigation and privacy issues. In a recent highlight, Agris Bitāns provided a legal opinion to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Latvia on the conformity of the Civil Procedure Law with data privacy rights. Newly promoted partner ElÄ«na MuciƆa also assisted on this matter. Inese Kalnāja-Zelča has left the firm for Rödl & Partner.

Kronbergs Čukste Levin's practice is led by Valter Kronbergs and noted practitioners include Vineta Čukste-Jurjeva and Zane Veidemane BērziƆa. The firm represented 4finance in a trade mark dispute with a competitor concerning the use of a logo. New clients include Nikon.

TGS Baltic acts for local and multinational companies across various industry sectors, offering clients advice on a broad range of IP issues and technology licensing. Andra Rubene is a key contact at the practice, along with Nauris Grigals. The pair represented a pharmacy company in a dispute with an IT company related to the cash register software system, which was resolved through an out-of-court settlement.
