Aequitas’ team is known for its ‘deep and detailed analysis of legal issues and legislation and the high quality of its drafted documents’. The group’s expertise covers civil, commercial, and environmental and subsoil issues, as well as disputes work in the energy and natural resources space. Aigoul Kenjebayeva, who leads the practice, is an expert in subsoil-use law. Disputes specialist Victoria Simonova regularly handles contentious issues in the space and senior associate Ruslan Nurbekov has experience in M&A and general corporate work pertaining to energy and natural resources.
