BBA’s corporate practice acted for Cobega on the sale of Vifilfell to Coca-Cola European Partners. Baldvin Björn Haraldsson, who heads the team alongside Ásgeir Ragnarsson, advised ISS World Services on the sale of an Icelandic subsidiary. BBA has expanded into Brussels following the hire of Ólafur Jóhannes Einarsson, and in Paris where Antoine Lochet has recently re-located. Clients include Tesla Europe, JP Morgan and Citibank.

The team at Juris provides ‘fresh ideas and notions in both legal and business aspects’. It acted for Íslandsbanki on all aspects of the sale of Frumherji. Halldór Jónsson led advice to hospitality entrepreneur Birgir Thór Bieltvedt on transactions valued at over ISK6bn, including the sale of shares to Domino’s UK and disposal of Hard Rock Café. Lex Law Offices’ team represented Munck Gruppen in its acquisition of the Icelandic construction company LNS Saga. It was also instructed by Sjávarsýn on the purchase of shares in S4S and a subsequent merger, valued at ISK1.3bn, of S4S and Ellingsen, a subsidiary of Sjávarsýn. Guðmundur Sigurðsson advises Costco on corporate matters following the opening of its first Icelandic warehouse. Managing partner Orn Gunnarsson heads up the team following the departure of Garðar Gíslason.

Atlantik Legal Servicesbalances the personal relationship and boutique firm climate with a broad knowledge of international legal environments’. The practice advised Sandur on its acquisition of ISS Ísland. The ‘knowledgeable, customer focused and goal-oriented’ managing partner Bogi Guðmundsson has a ‘capacity for thinking outside the box’. Clients include the Federation of the Icelandic Automobile Industry and E3.

Fjeldsted & Blöndal offers ‘high-quality services for a reasonable price’. Led by practice head Halldór Karl Halldórsson the team advised Pt Capital and investors in relation to its acquisition of Nova.

Landslog – Law Offices’ M&A team advised Hagar on the €133m acquisition of Oliuverzlun Islands. Vodafone Iceland and SMI are both clients. Viðar Lúðvíksson is a key contact.

The team at Réttur – Adalsteinsson & Partners assisted BNP Paribas and Fortress Credit Advisor with exiting their investment in Stodir. The firm also advises Icelandic Water Holdings and RUSAL.
