CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz D.O.O. in cooperation with local lawyers advises on all aspects of real estate transactions and often assists clients with the financing, due diligence and PPP aspects of power plant projects. Practice head Nedžida Salihović-Whalen acts for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, alongside associate Indir Osmić, on the structuring and financing of the Regional Energy Efficiency Programme and the associated development of projects, and assists European Energy with real estate regulatory matters. Wolf Theiss - in cooperation with local lawyers' 'swift, responsive and cooperative team' is led by Naida Čustović in Sarajevo and Nikolaus Paul in Vienna. Recent highlights include advising several clients on the construction of highways, including representing them in disputes, and acting for RMU Banovići on the construction of a thermal power plant. Counsel Lana Sarajlić joined from Karanovic & Partners in cooperation with local lawyers in November 2017. Senior associate Samra Hadžović left the firm.

Marić & Co Law Firm has a broad range of expertise in construction matters. Practice head Predrag Radovanović and senior associate Slaven Dizdar handled the construction, energy and concession aspects of the development of six hydro-electric power plants on the river Ljuta for Kolektor Group Slovenia. Other recent highlights include acting for the US Embassy in Sarajevo on the construction of a diplomatic residence.

At Law Office Miljković & Partners, Sead Miljković leads the real estate and construction practice and handles the entire range of development matters. He recently assisted SUB Group with the end phase of the construction of the Capital Tower in Sarajevo and advised dm-drogerie markt on the leasing of business premises. Senior associate Mia Čivić left to take up an in-house role.

Law firm SAJIC stands out for its dispute resolution expertise, as shown by its representation of Tehnometal in proceedings against Vlasenica Municipality regarding the construction of infrastructure facilities, and defending Aquana in a dispute with Atzwanger concerning the construction of a swimming pool. The team, led by Stojanka Sajic, also advises clients including UniCredit Bank and Hrvatske Telekom. Senior associate Tijana Kondic is also noted.

At Dimitrijevic & Partners, Davorin Marinković advised the Czech Republic subsidiary of the global OHL Group on public procurement issues relating to the construction of a new high-security state prison. Stevan Dimitrijevic represented Atzwanger in a dispute with the city of Banja Luka regarding the construction of an aquapark.

Nihad Sijerčić and Goran Babić lead the team at Karanovic & Partners in cooperation with local lawyers and handle real estate and construction matters arising from M&A transactions, as well as energy and infrastructure projects. Clients include British American Tobacco, Telemach and ArcelorMittal Zenica. Senior associate Lana Sarajlić left in November 2017 to join Wolf Theiss - in cooperation with local lawyers.

Lawyers' Office Olodar Prebanić & Arela Jusufbašić-Goloman recently advised Templeville Group on the construction of a hotel appendix and is assisting Technital with obtaining a licence for the purpose of participation in local projects as well as in regard to tender procedures.
