Conyers Dill & Pearman's 'excellent' practice has 'a number of talented practitioners'; the 'thorough, experienced and responsive team' has a long-established reputation for advising ultra-high-net-worth clients on family trust structures, including the original structure design and ongoing administration as well as restructuring issues in response to changing tax or family circumstances. Global private client and trust head Alec Anderson advises on succession planning for family businesses, the creation of private trust companies, restructuring trusts to resolve family and regulatory issues, and the protection of family wealth from divorce and other litigation; the 'courteous, responsive and wise' Anderson is 'at the very top of his game, and a pleasure to work with'. The other recommended directors are the 'extremely helpful and energetic' Craig Macintyre; Helen Cooper, who is 'very diligent and manages the whole process with the minimum of fuss and the maximum of output'; Peter Pearman; and Karen Corless. Stephanie Bernard, Nicola Bruce and Anna Bruce-Smith are notable associates.

Appleby's Bermuda private client and trusts practice advises on all aspects of trust law, including the establishment, administration, restructuring and termination of private, charitable, purpose and commercial trusts. It provided charitable legal advice to the America’s Cup Event Authority in relation to the application of the Charities Act 2014 as it related to its affiliated charitable organisation, Endeavour Community Sailing. MJM Limited's private-client practice group undertakes non-contentious individual and commercial private client work, including the establishment of Bermuda-based trusts, which often involve complex underlying structures. The team also provides advice on estate planning, will drafting, probate applications and estate administration; the litigation and dispute resolution group regularly assists with contentious trust and estate matters. Recent matters include assisting a European client with the restructuring of several offshore trusts; the advice included the trusts' redomiciliation to Bermuda from Guernsey and Jersey. Hildeberto (Hil) de Frias heads the private client team and is experienced in private client transactions such as complex international private trust structures and domestic real property sales and purchases, and Fozeia Rana-Fahy leads the contentious private client team. Jane Collis is a highly regarded senior associate, specialising in estate planning, wills, international and domestic trust structuring, and probate.

Carey Olsen Bermuda was opened in late 2017 and soon welcomed Keith Robinson, who established the firm's trusts and private wealth department; counsel Henry Tucker, who is noted for commercial litigaiton involving offshore trusts; and senior associate Cheri Minors. Robinson was hired from Appleby, while Tucker and Minors joined from H J Tucker & Co and in-house at Colonial Group International, respectively. In addition to Robinson's contentious trusts practice, he advises trustees, beneficiaries, settlors and protectors on a range of non-contentious Bermudian trust matters.

In 2017, global legal practice Kennedys Law LLP and Sedgwick Chudleigh Ltd merged to become Kennedys. The practice's recent work includes representing professional trustees in heavily contested, multi-party proceedings, which involved the Bermuda Court's approval of a complex, high-value transaction; it also assists trustees and beneficiaries with other court applications, including Section 47 restructurings, and it advises charitable trusts and charitable foundations on Bermudian legal issues. Recently appointed silk in England and Wales, Alex Potts QC 'deals with matters efficiently; whenever he expresses an opinion he does so cogently, identifying the real issues and addressing them effectively and swiftly'.
