Stibbe fields a multidisciplinary team with the capacity to handle a range of matters for its manufacturing sector clients. Ignace Vernimme is leading advice to a group of companies including Recmix, Orbix, Recoval and Carbstone Innovation, on several issues including IP strategy and contractual issues. The group is also instructed in a range of corporate transactions in the sector including assisting Punch Powertrain with its joint venture with PSA Groupe, as well as acting for Dossche Mills on the acquisition of Meneba Holding Ignace. Stefan Odeurs and Vernimme jointly head the practice, which also includes corporate partner Dries Hommez.

The cross-departmental team at White & Case LLP leverages the firm’s contentious, corporate, competition and regulatory expertise to serve its manufacturing clients. The group is instructed by Toshiba in follow-on damages actions relating to its joint and several liability with its joint venture for involvement in the cathode ray tubes cartel. A team led by James Killick advised Eurofer on several matters, including handling anti-dumping proceedings, as well as assisting with the European Commission’s global safeguards investigation concerning imports. The department also counts Sanitec, Nexans and Celsa Group among its clients. Jacquelyn MacLennan and counsel Richard King are highlighted for competition law and international trade matters respectively.

Linklaters benefits from its ability to leverage its domestic full-service offering in combination with the firm's global network to assist its manufacturing sector clients. The group is instructed on a range of corporate, compliance, employment and contentious matters. In a recent work highlight, Bernd Meyring assisted Saint-Gobain with antritrust matters relating to its acquisition of Sika. Elke Duden left the practice to join CMS.
