Dissenting perspectives: client service

In the first of GC Magazine and RPC’s Dissenting Perspectives series we considered ‘Client Service’. Our speaker Susannah Schofield OBE gave a high energy and engaging presentation on the six areas any business needs to consider from both an internal and an external customer perspective. The issue of two sets of clients was particularly pertinent for our audience of general counsel and leading in-house lawyers.

Susannah particularly considered the importance of brand and the importance of brand reputation in regards to client service in the age of social media. Her talk drew on her experience as Commercial Director within the Royal Mail Maintenance Network and in setting up businesses and creating innovation under the Royal Mail brand.
