Position

Barrister specialising in litigation and advice in the fields of company law (including shareholder disputes, directors’ duties, corporate fraud and asset recovery, reductions of capital and schemes of arrangement); insolvency law (both corporate and personal); financial services law; insurance and banking business transfer schemes; regulatory work (including directors’ disqualification, public interest winding-up proceedings, insolvency practitioner tribunals, FSMA); and commercial disputes. He represented a number of the witnesses giving evidence to the BSE enquiry and has acted as an investigator appointed under the Insurance Companies Act 1982. He has also been appointed friend of the court on a number of occasions.
