Career
Andrew is a leading personal injury junior in the South West and Wales but his practice takes him to courts all over the country; he acts primarily for defendants, via their insurers, but also does some claimant work. His principal fields of practice are employers liability, industrial disease, especially asbestos-related litigation, VWF, RSI and noise cases, stress/bullying claims in the workplace, road traffic accidents, and public liability, especially involving occupiers. In addition he undertakes work in the fields of insurance, especially fraudulent claims, and clinical negligence as well as health and safety prosecution/defence. Andrew has a reputation as a tough cross-examiner; he has appeared in the Court of Appeal, the Queen's Bench Division, and extensively in county courts all across the country. He has been recommended in the field of personal injury litigation by 'The Legal 500' from 1999 to date - his current entry records: 'he fights tooth and nail'. He has been recommended in 'Chambers & Partners' from 2002 to date.
