Position
Susan has been a specialist family barrister for 20 years. Her practice includes the full range of family work, including Inheritance Act claims and cohabitee disputes but there is particular emphasis on high worth, complex ancillary relief cases and public law cases involving serious allegations of assault, sexual and otherwise. With vast experience of appearing in the High Court and County Courts both around the Western Circuit and on other Circuits, she has appeared in a number of reported cases. Susan has been a recorder since 1998 with tickets for family (private and public law), civil and crime. She is a member of the FLBA and is chairman of the Bristol branch. She is an advocacy trainer for the Western Circuit and the Inner Temple and Western Circuit Committee member with responsibility for CPD.
