Position
Advises on restructuring and insolvency, both debtor and creditor side, with a particular focus on cross-border insolvency issues and CVAs. Extensive experience in both contentious (eg fraud, directors’ misconduct) and non-contentious (eg board advisory, consensual restructuring) roles. Also has considerable experience in asset/receivables financing and oil and gas law. Advisor to the Pension Protection Fund on a variety of insolvency matters. Advisor to The Football League on insolvent football clubs. Advisor to liquidators of UK Madoff business, co-ordinating global recovery strategy. Appeared in ‘The Lawyer Hot 100’ in 2010 and ‘World’s Leading Insolvency and Restructuring Lawyers 2010’.
