Position
IP lawyer specialising in life sciences and academic technology transfer. Provides advice to a wide range of clients including pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies, academic institutions and funders in relation to all matters regarding the licensing, development and commercialisation of IP, including in particular: product acquisitions, in and out licensing and due diligence; research and development collaborations; pre-clinical testing and clinical trials and regulatory; marketing, co-promotion and distribution arrangements. Regularly advises key clients on strategically important transactions including recently, for example, advising Ardana Bioscience on its ten-year acquisition of the exclusive marketing rights to Emselex from Novartis and acting for the University of Glasgow in relation to its 25-year partnership agreement with IP Group Plc.
