5 Paper Buildings is ‘a very capable set with some good junior talent’. The set’s ‘excellent advocates’ regularly prosecute for the Office of Fair Trading, the Competition and Markets Authority, as well as county councils and London boroughs. The standout case for the set has been Miles Bennett and Denis Barry’s work with the CMA on the possible prosecution of Volkswagen for its 2015 emissions scandal. In addition, five members have been representing the National Trading Standards board on taking action against ‘copycat’ government websites.
