Position

Graham Wells has a practice that does not fit neatly into any particular area. The main part of his practice is actions involving the police. In this area he is recognised as a leading practitioner; he been instructed in the Court of Appeal and in the High Court in a number of leading cases. He has also dealt with disciplinary hearings and appeals. He has a personal injury practice, for both claimants and defendants, involving all kinds of accidents and injuries resulting both from trauma and from industrial diseases. His practice ranges from small claims to the most severe, the largest claim being for more than ÂŁ4m. He also undertakes professional negligence cases; medical, legal and other. He has been involved in several group actions, with subjects as varied as claims for dust on housing estates following local authority repairs to the houses and claims arising from the prescription of LSD within the NHS. He also undertakes health and safety work, having been instructed to act on behalf of international companies in prosecutions brought by the HSE arising out of accidents at work, usually involving fatalities. In commercial work, he has been concerned with a range of contractual disputes. Qualified mediator by Academy of Experts.
